Katie Horst
Katie co-founded Grosse Pointe Alumni & Friends with the goal of connecting alumni and ensuring the excellence and viability of our public school system, not only in the near term, but in perpetuity. She previously taught middle school math and science for ten years. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Michigan and a Masters degree in Education from Michigan State University. A frequent volunteer in various capacities within the Grosse Pointe Public School System, she lives in Grosse Pointe Farms with her husband and three sons enrolled in Grosse Pointe Public Schools. Katie attended Richard, Brownell and graduated from South High School. Katie’s family roots in Grosse Pointe date back to the 1840s!
