Mandy Koop

Mandy Koop has more than 20 years experience in academic research and has helped to secure millions of dollars of funding through grants from government, public and private channels to improve care and therapies for people living with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders. She is a Project Scientist in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Cleveland Clinic and holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Mandy co-founded GPAFA because of her belief in the power of K-12 educational excellence. She lives in Grosse Pointe Farms with her husband and their two young daughters who are enrolled in GPPSS.
